Four coronavirus-infected patients die at TUTH in last 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Four COVID-19 infected people undergoing treatment at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) in Kathmandu have died in the last 24 hours.

The deceased are three males from Kathmandu aged 59, 64 and 70 respectively and a 59-year-old male from Sindhupalchowk, the hospital sources said.

The 59-year-old male from Kathmandu was a diabetic and breathed his last on Saturday night.

Likewise, the 64-year-old patient undergoing kidney dialyses died this morning at around 2 am.

Similarly, the 70-year-old patient died on Saturday.

The patient from Sindhupalchowk who died on Saturday night was suffering from pneumonia.
