Bagmati State to provide Rs 182 million to local levels, hospitals



HETAUDA: The Disaster Management Steering Committee (DMSC) of Bagmati State has decided to provide Rs 182 million to various local levels, hospitals and health management centres of the state to prevent and control COVID-19.

It was decided upon to distribute the money from the fund set up by the state government on the recommendations of the Ministry of Social Development, said the state government Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Shalikram Jammarkattel.

As per the decision, in Kathmandu district, Kirtipur municipality will get one million, Shankharapur municipality two million, Budhanilkantha municipality two million, Tarakeshwor municipality one million, Kageshwori Manohara municipality Rs 1.5 million, Chandragiri municipality one million and Tokha municipality two million.

Similarly, Manahari rural municipality of Makawanpur district will get one million, Dhulikhel municipality of Kavre district Rs 10 million and Namobuddha municipality Rs 1.5 million, and Bharatpur Metropolitan City of Chitwan district Rs 10 million.

Likewise, Ratnanagar municipality will get Rs 5 million, Bhimeshwor municipality of Dolakha district Rs 10 million, Dhading hospital Rs 7.5 million, Hetauda hospital five million, Chautara hospital Rs 2.2 million and Bhaktapur hospital five million.

Anandaban hospital in Lalitpur will receive Rs 1.5 million, Sindhuli hospital three million, Trishuli hospital three million, Ramechhap hospital Rs 9.5 million, Bajrabarahi hospital in Lalitpur Rs 2.5 million, and the zonal ayurveda hospitals in Makawanpur and Kathmandu Rs 500,000 each,

Likewise, the Ayurveda hospitals in Chitwan, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur and Kavre districts will receive Rs 500,000 each, district ayurveda health centres in Sindhupalchok, Dolakha, Ramechhap, Sindhuli, Nuwakot and Dhading districts Rs 300,000 each, the district ayurveda health centre in Rasuwa district Rs 100,000, the health office in Kathmandu five million and the health supply management centre Rs 76 million.
