73 new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Chitwan

BHARATPUR: Seventy-three additional coronavirus cases have been diagnosed in Chitwan district.

Of them, 43 cases were diagnosed during swab tests conducted at the laboratory of Bharatpur Hospital and 30 at the laboratory of Chitwan Medical College.

According to a press note issued by the hospital, reports of 43 out of 405 swab samples came out positive on Sunday evening.

Similarly, 362 swab sample reports came out negative.

Among them 33 new cases are from Chitwan. Similarly, three are from Nawalpur, two from Rautahat and one each from Dhanusha, Arghakhanchi, Jhapa, Parsa, Kapilvastu and Sunsari.

Out of 19 infected in Chitwan, 11 are from Bharatpur, 6 from Ratnanagar, two from Khairahani.

Similarly, six among those infected are from Hetauda, one each from Bakaiya and Manahari, two from Tanahun and one from Nawalpur Debchuli.
