Hero Motocorp launches Super Splendor with enchance safety feature



KATHMANDU: Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has launched an updated version of the highly popular Super Splendor motorcycle.

With new version, the Super Splendor is now safer and secure with the addition of the Integrated Braking System (IBS).

The IBS is an enhanced safety feature that enables distribution of brake action between the front and rear brakes when the rear brake is applied. This ensures additional safety for the rider in all conditions.

The Super Splendor with IBS will be available at authorized Hero showrooms across the country at the attractive prices of Rs. 1,98,000 (Self-Drum Alloy wheel).

The Super Splendor is one of the most popular motorcycles in the country, and we are certain this sentiment and trust on the brand will only grow for this motorcycle, which is now safer than before.”

The motorcycle comes with an Air-cooled, 4-stroke single cylinder 124.7cc engine that produces a maximum power output of 6.72 kW (9.0 bhp) @ 7000 rpm and maximum torque of 10.35 Nm @ 4000 rpm.

The Super Splendor reaches a maximum speed of 90 km/h. It also comes packed with a series of utility and comfort features, such as Side Stand Indicator, 18-inch wide alloy wheels, comfortable seat profile, large capacity fuel tank (13 ltrs.) and with an additional storage utility box in front of the tank.

It offers a unique style-quotient and comes with modern graphics in five premium metallic colors – Black with Grey, Candy Blazing Red, Black with Red stripes, Black with Violet stripes and Ebony Grey.
