Nepal, Israel sign agreement for visa exemption to diplomatic passport holders



KATHMANDU: Nepal and Israel have signed an agreement to exempt diplomatic passport holders from the requirement of a visa.

The agreement was signed by Nepali Ambassador Israel Dr. Anjan Shakya and Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi during an event held in Jerusalem.

With the decision, a citizen holding a diplomatic passport from either country will no longer have to obtain a visa when traveling to another country’s territory for a maximum of 90 days.
