URLABARI: A youth died being hit by a car at Sundar Haraincha Municipality-4 along the East-West Highway in Morang district on Wednesday night.
The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Prkash Chaudhary of Itahari Sub Metropolitan City-8 . Similarly, Hem Chaudhary,22, who was riding pillion, has sustained injuries. He is receiving treatment at Biratnagar-based Nobel Hospital.
The car, Ba 3 Cha 7962, coming from the opposite direction, had hit the motorcycle.
Police said they are investigating the case after taking the car and its driver under control.
