Deuba considers breach of party statute “bravery”: NC senior leader Poudel

KATHMANDU: Senior leader of Nepali Congress (NC) Ram Chandra Poudel has alleged party President Sher Bahadur Deuba for breaching the party statute, and “he (Deuba) considers it an act of bravery”.

Poudel came down heavily on Deuba for unilaterally nominating party members in various departments without consulting in the party.

Poudel and his camp has been alleging party President Deuba for breaching the party statute while making such appointments.

“Deuba thinks breaching the party statute is his bravery,” he said speaking to News Agency Nepal.

He said that if this continues, the party would veer toward a risk.

It may be noted that Poudel had recently handed over a letter to party President Deuba drawing the latter’s attention over the breach of the party statute.
