India’s former President Pranav Mukherjee on ventilator



NEW DELHI: Former President of India Pranav Mukherjee, who was admitted to hospital after he testing positive to COVID-19 on Monday, is undergoing treatment on a ventilator.

According to Indian news portals, President Mukherjee had gone through an operation on Monday to remove the blood clots from the brain and is undergoing treatment on ventilator after the operation.

Reports describe his condition as critical due to his age.

Ex-Prez Mukharjee, 84, was tested coronavirus positive in the test carried out prior to his operation on Monday.
