Sushant Singh Rajput case: CBI files FIR against Rhea Chakraborty

MUMBAI: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed an FIR against Bollywood actor Rhea Chakraborty for what has been said as “abetting” the suicide of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Indian media reports, however, said that CBI will not be able to probe the case in Mumbai or in other places in the state of Maharashtra.

The anti-corruption unit Vl of the CBI has been entrusted with the responsibility to investigate the case.

It should be noted that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, on the request of Sushant’s family, had handed over the case to CBI, and is currently being probed by the Patna Police.
