360 diagnosed with COVID-19, Nepal’s caseload at 21,750

KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Ministry of Health and Population on Thursday said that the country’s coronavirus tally has reached 21,750 after 360 people tested positive for coronavirus in the past 24 hours.

Speaking at a regular press briefing on Thursday afternoon, Ministry’s Spokesperson Dr. Jageshwor Gautam the cases were confirmed in 6,622 tests at laboratories across the country.

A total of 15,389 have recovered across the country so far after 233 discharged from hospital and isolation centers in the past 24 hours, he shared.

At present, 6,296 people are in isolation and 9,770 are in quarantines.

Nepal’s death toll stands at 65 after five new deaths reported, Spokesperson Dr. Gautam said.
