Socket bomb found under sofa set in Basundhara



KATHMANDU: A socket bomb has been found in an office based in Basundhara in the capital on Monday.

The socket bomb was found under a sofa set in the office of Cultural Center run in the house joined to Oasis Cafe in Basundhara, confirmed DSP Hobindra Bogati, spokesperson of Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu.

“A bomb disposal team is heading towards the incident site following the information about the bomb, said Bogati.

Police said they are investing the case after taking the incident site under control.
