Kathmandu Valley reports 45 new COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Valley has reported as many as 45 news cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

Speaking at a regular press briefing, Dr Jageshwor Gautam, Spokesperson at Ministry of Health and Population, informed that 45 people have contracted to coronavirus in the Valley.

According to Spokesperson Gautam, two persons from Bhaktapur, and 19 from Kathmandu have tested positive for pandemic virus in the test conducted at the Teku-based National Public Health Laboratory.

Similarly, a test conducted at Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Hospital reported 13 new cases in the Valley.

Likewise, 4 persons from Kathmandu reported positive in the test performed at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, as well as 3 people were reported positive in the test conducted at the Nepal Police Hospital laboratory.

Two persons each from Kathmandu and Lalitpur have been infected with the COVID-19 in a test performed at Star Hospital laboratory.
