Truck plunges into Trishuli river



MUNGLIN: A goods container heading towards Kathmandu from Biratnagar plunged into the Trishuli river near Nagdikhola of Ichhakamana Rural Municipality-5 Thursday morning.

The container with number plate Na 3 Kha 8987 fell off the road after it collided with a truck — Na 6 Kha 5687 – according to the District Police Office, Chitwan.

The truck driver is injured in the accident and is being treated at a local medical facility.

The container was carrying goods belonging to Bhatbhateni Super Market. District Police Office spokesman Surya Bahadur Thapa said that search is on for the missing container.
