Two-way traffic movement resumes along Naubise-Muglin road



CHITWAN: The Naubise-Muglin road section of the Prithvi Highway that was obstructed for the past six days has resumed both ways from Saturday night.

Vehicular movement along the road section resume after an approach road to the bridge over Mau stream was repaired.

The highway was disrupted following the damages caused by landslides and floods triggered by the incessant rainfall.

The damaged section was reconstructed with the help of the Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, Nepal Police, and employees of the Road Department.

Meanwhile, the Beni-Jomsom- Korala road section, which was blocked due to landslide, has not reopened for 16 days.

The road has been blocked since July 11 due to landslide in Dana and Galeshwor areas of Myagdi and a bailey bridge on the road section was swept away by the flood.
