Province 5 waives fine on vehicle tax, license renewal

BUTWAL: The Province 5 government has waived fine on vehicle tax and driving license renewal.

The Cabinet meeting held on Thursday decided not to impose fines on the owners of vehicles that have not been able to pay yearly vehicle tax and renew driving licenses due to the lockdown enforced to control and prevent coronavirus.

No fine will be imposed if taxes cleared until October 16, said Government Spokesperson and Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development Baijnath Chaudhary.
