Ashok Khadka announced best umpire



KATHMANDU: International umpire from Nepal, Ashok Khadka, has been announced the best umpire in the first Malaysian Open International Sports Challenge Cup.

Nepal, India, Malaysia, Indonesia and Romania had participated in the tournament. Eight Nepali players got medals in the Pumse taekwondo.

Nepali player Madhusudan Sapkota got gold medal. In addition to this, Nepal won four silver and three bronze medals in the Challenge Cup. Sapkota is also the Chairperson of Nepalese Taekwondo Academy.

He lifted the medal on the 40 over category. The tournament held on Tuesday had the participation of 375 players from 12 countries.
