Snake bite kills 1 in Baitadi



BAITADI: A teenage girl of Pancheswor-2 Mahakali has died of snakebite on Tuesday evening.

According to Gorakh Bahadur Chand, the Mayor of Pacheswor Rural Municipality, Bhagirathi Chand, 17, an inhabitant of Pancheswor-2, Mahakali died of snake bite.

Mayor Chand informed that Bhagirathi was bitten by the snake at her own courtyard and died while being rushed to hospital for treatment.

The deceased was a student of Grade 7 at Dev Thala Secondary School.

Snake bite is an unnoticed killer in monsoon season.
