No letup in clean-up campaign despite COVID-19



KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Valley-based clean-up campaigns including Bagmati clean-up mega campaign have gained momentum despite a gradual rise in the COVID-19 cases in the Valley.

As part of this, the clean-up was carried out at Pashupati and Shankhamul areas in the 374th weeks of Bagmati clean-up mega drive.

Member of High-Powered Bagmati Civilization Integrated Development Committee board of directors Mala Kharel took the lead today to carry out a clean-up campaign today.

Likewise, campaigner Dr. Laxmi Poudel led the sanitation campaign at Shankhamul area.

The clean-up campaign has been so far initiated in 106 different areas including main cities and rivers outside the Kathmandu Valley. RSS
