APF’s Disaster Management Team arrives in Bajura



BAJURA: A 7-member team of Armed Police Force (APF) has arrived in Bajura for search and rescue of a 19-year-old youth who got lost in the Budhi Ganaga river.

According to DSP Tanka Prasad Bhattarai, the Chief of District Police Office Bajura, a team of APF the youth who went missing by drowning in the Budhi Ganga river.

DSP Bhattarai informed that Thapa went missing while trying to cross the river on Monday morning at around 9 am.

“As the status of Thapa is unknown, APF team has arrived Bajura from Kathmandu for his search and rescue,” he said.

Nepal Police and Armed Police Force team are carrying out the search operation in the incident site which lies 14 km away from Martadi.
