Gangalal hospital closes OPD after seven patients diagnosed with COVID-19

KATHMANDU: Outpatient Department (OPD) of Sahid Gangalal National Heart Center, Kathmandu has been closed after seven patients receiving treatment at the Center tested positive for coronavirus.

The outpatient department has been closed indefinitely pasting a notice on Monday after the swab reports of seven people came out positive during tests at Patan Hospital.

Even though the OPD has been closed, the services of the other departments are continuing, according to the hospital’s administration.

The newly seven infected have been sent to Armed Police Force Hospital based in Balambu, said the administration.
