TANAHU: The ‘National Indigenous Kaura Preservation Journalism Prize-2077′ will be awarded to Tanahu-based journalist Pratap Ranamagar.

The prize established by the National Indigenous Kaura Preservation Committee, Nepal and operated by the Nepal Magar Journalists’ Association, Kaski carries a purse of Rs. 10,000 and a copper plaque.

He is being honored for promoting the indigenous Kaura dance, popular in Gandaki State, through the medium of journalism, the Association Chair Rudra Bahadur Hitanamagar said.
