GHORAHI: A total of 58 new cases have been confirmed in Dang on a single day on Monday.

A total of 58 people were found infected with the coronavirus in tests carried out at the Rapti Institute of Health Sciences in Ghorahi, bringing the total number of cases in the district to 568.

Among the infected found today, are 22 from Gadhawa, 10 from Babai, eight from Tulsipur, seven from Ghorahi, five from Rapti, four each from Shantinagar and Dangisharan and two Nepal Army personnel.

Of those infected, 22 are women and 36 are men.
