Man who stayed at quarantine dies, COVID-19 test to be performed

WEST NAWALPARASI: A 45-year-old man who had stayed at a quarantine center in Bardhaghat Municipality-2, Chisapani has died.

The man died at 5:30 am on Sunday while undergoing treatment at Butwal Provincial Hospital, said Madhav Gyawali, Chief of Bardhaghat Municipality Health Branch.

Gyawali said that the family was informed and the man was taken to the hospital at around 12 pm on Saturday.

The man, hailing from Bardaghat-2, Chisapani was living in the quarantine after arriving from Mumbai on Friday.

The swab sample of the deceased has been collected for COVID-19 test.
