POKHARA: The Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences Western Regional Hospital, Pokhara, has closed all services barring for emergency today.
According to Hospital Director Arjun Acharya, all services except emergency were closed for the management of the dead body after a coronavirus infected person of Adhikhola Rural Municipality of Syangja district, died in course of treatment at the hospital on Wednesday night.
The 55-year-old person was also suffering from diabetes and pneumonia. He was receiving treatment with ventilator support at the hospital from June 22.
Acharya added all services of the hospital would be regular from Friday once the dead body is managed.
With the confirmation of coronavirus infection on 11 individuals from four districts of Gandaki State this morning, number of total coronavirus infected people has reached 753 in the State, according to the Provincial Health Directorate.
