KATHMANDU: ‘Banchha Namuna Nepal’ – a song written by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli- has been premiered.

A doctor involved in the treatment of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has sung the song which is enthused by patriotism.

Dr Ramesh Singh Bhandari, a liver transplant surgeon at TU Teaching Hospital, has composed music and given voice to the song.

Dr Bhandari had conducted an appendix surgery on Prime Minister Oli before he underwent the kidney transplant surgery for the second time.

Oli had been kept under the vigil of Bhandari following the appendectomy .

Dr Bhandari is keenly interested in music since his childhood.

It is learnt that Bhandari used to play his songs recorded on his mobile for the Prime Minister to help him pass his time during his hospital rest.

Oli had asked Bhandari to sing lyrics composed by himself.
