Valley tightens people’s movement to curb COVID-19



KATHMANDU: District Administrations have taken stringent measures to stem coronavirus spread in the Kathmandu Valley.

The district administrations have said they will arrest and keep people in quarantine if they are found entering the capital without permission of the house owner and municipality.

Similarly, a recommendation letter has been made mandatory from the concerned municipality of the district for those leaving the Kathmandu Valley.

Those who enter the capital without completing the procedures will be held and kept in quarantine set up in various party palaces, a report in Gorkhapatra daily said.
