A new weather system has developed which will cause incessant rain, according to MFD.

Talking to Khabarhub, Samir Shrestha, a meteorologist, said a previous weather system died down yesterday and a new powerful system has developed from Wednesday morning.

“According to Shrestha, misty wind has started blowing from the Bay of Bengal and it is now entering Nepal from the east part of the country,” said Shrestha.

As a result, a low pressure system has been formed near the eastern part of Nepal.

Currently, heavy rain is occurring in Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari and Dhankuta districts, according to MFD.

Similarly, Kaski, Jumla, Humla, Kalikot, Surkhet are also witnessing rain since early Wednesday.

MFD has predicted heavy rain in some parts of Pradesh 1, Pradesh 2, Gandaki Pradesh and Karnali Pradesh and advised to take precaution as the rain might trigger landslides and flood in these areas.
