KAILALI: Friday saw 168 new cases of novel coronavirus pandemic in Sudur Pashchim Province.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Sudur Paschim Province saw 168 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, the largest ever single day cases.
151 cases in National Public Health Laboratory, 12 in Dhangadhi Laboratory, and 5 in Maharajgunj based Teaching Hospital made 168 new cases in Sudur Pashchim Province on Friday.
The Ministry of Health and Population sources informed that among the PCR tests executed in Teku based National Public Health Laboratory, 63 of Baitadi, 46 of Kailali, 15 of Doti, 9 of Dadeldhura, 8 of Bajura, 7 of Accham and 3 of Bajhang tested coronavirus positive.
Similarly, 5 people from Baitadi tested coronavirus positive in the test carried out in TUTH, Maharajgunj, Kathmandu.
Likewise, 12 persons tested positive in the test carried out in Dhangadhi based laboratory.
According to Dilip Shrestha, the information official of Dhangadhi Hospital, 12 cases of Dhangadhi include 7 of Kailali, 4 of Doti and 1 of Kanchanpur tested coronavirus positive on Friday.
