Police seize explosives in Bhojpur



KATHMANDU: Bhojpur police have seized some arms and explosives from Khadananda Municipality 2, Tabu, Bhojpur on Friday.

According to the Area Police Office Dingla, the police seized one homemade gun, socket bomb, 2 detonators, wires used in making bombs and some documents lying unclaimed in a hut at Khadananda-2, Tabu.

The police skeptic about the use of the hut meant to take shelter while chasing monkey in the area, went to examine the things lying in the hut not formally occupied by anyone at the time. The police found the arms and explosives in a bag kept there.

The police are investigating further to trace the owner of the bag with the explosives.
