COVID-19: Over 6,500 people die in past 24 hours globally

KATHMANDU: Coronavirus pandemic has killed 6,592 across the world in the past 24 hours.

With this, the number of deaths from the COVID-19 has reached over 445,000 globally.

Until this report was prepared on Wednesday morning, a total of 445,959 people have died in 113 countries including two international conveyances across the world.

With 142,546 new infection cases in a single day, the number of infection cases has climbed to 8,256,257.

Currently, 3,504,705 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the world, of which 4,306,089 have returned home after treatment.

In European countries, 183,967 have died from coronavirus pandemic, 147,134 in North America, 43, 660 in Asia, 63,262 in South America, 7,026 in Africa and 124 in Australia and Oceania countries  as of Wednesday morning.
