12 gamblers including 4 women arrested from Gongabu



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 12 gamblers from a gambling den at Ganeshsthan in Gongabu. Among the arrested are 8 men and 4 women.

A team from the Kathmandu Metropolitan Police arrested them in a raid on Tuesday evening

Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Raj Kumar KC said that they were arrested after raiding the gambling den and the arrested have been kept at the Metropolitan Police Circle, Maharajgunj.

Police have recovered Rs 271,000 from the gambling den.
