191 infected overcome COVID-19 in Karnali in a single day



SURKEHT: As many as 191 persons returned home following recovery from coronavirus infection in Karnali Province today.

According to the Health Service Directorate under the Ministry of Social Development, 120 have discharged from Dailekh district hospital, 27 from Dullu hospital, 41 from Salyan hospital and three from Province hospital Surkhet today.

So far 342 infected have returned home following recovery in Karnali. The trend will further increase, said Health Division Chief Dr. Laxmi Narayan Tiwari.

Nine new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in the Province during the last 24 hours. Among them are five from Dailekha nd four from Surkhet. The tally has climbed to 1,086 with the new cases while three have already lost their lives to the virus in the Province.
