Nine new COVID-19 cases in Karnali Province

KATHMANDU: Another nine people have been infected with the coronavirus in Karnali Province.

Laxminarayan Tiwari of the Health Services Division under the Karnali State Ministry of Social Development said that nine more people were infected with the coronavirus on Tuesday.

According to him, five men from Dullu Municipality-3, 5, 7 and 11 in Dailekh and one woman and three men from Bheriganga Municipality-11 and Gurbhakot Municipality-11 and 12 of Surkhet have been infected with the coronavirus.

He said that people between the ages of 18 and 67 years have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection.

So far, 1,086 people have been infected with the coronavirus in Karnali. Of them, 342 have been discharged and three have died.
