KATHMANDU: Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) forecast heavy rains starting today.
Currently, the rain is occurring in Kailali, Surkhet and in some areas of Gandaki Pradesh and Pradesh 1. According to MFD, the rain will occur in many parts of the country towards the afternoon.
The weather will be generally cloudy in Surdurpashchim, Pradesh 5 and fully cloudy in the rest of the provinces.
The heavy rains with thunderstorms and lightning are likely to occur in some parts of Pradesh 1, Pradesh 2, Bagmati Pradesh, Gandaki Pradesh and Pradesh 5 today, according to MFD.
Heavy rains are likely to occur in Bagmati Pradesh, Gandaki Pradesh and Pradesh 5 today afternoon and tonight.
