407 Nepalis enter; 428 Indians exit through Belahiya checkpoint



BHAIRAHAWA: A total of 407 Nepalis have entered Nepal through Belahiya of Rupandehi on Saturday.

Similarly, 428 Indian nationals left Nepal through the border crossing, according to the Belahiya Area Police Office.

Compared to the previous day, the number of people entering India has decreased.

On Friday, 1,128 people had entered India from Nepal and 431 had come to Nepal.

According to Belahiya Police Inspector Ishwori Adhikari, most of the Nepalis who have come to Nepal have reached their districts and stayed in the quarantine managed by the concerned local level, while some have been sent to the home quarantine.

The local levels of some districts, on the other hand, have been taking their citizens by arranging their own vehicles.

According to the Area Police Office, Belahiya, those who could not go to their district were kept in quarantine in Bhairahawa and surrounding areas.
