NA Lance Corporal found dead at military hospital



KATHMANDU: A Lance corporal working at capital-based Birendra Military Hospital is found dead this morning.

According to SSP Shyam Lal Gyawali, the chief of Metropolitan Police Office Kathmandu, Lance corporal Dambar Bisht was found dead with bullet injuries in his chest on Friday morning.

Bisht has bullet injuries in his chest.

“Preliminary investigation suggests the deceased shot himself dead, however, the investigation is going on and details will be made public once the investigation is complete,” SSP Gyawali said.

“Nothing much can be said for certain till the details come,” he added.

The body has been taken to the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for postmortem.

A policeman was found in similar condition in Syawambhu last month.
