Youths in Birgunj protest against govt for failing to handle COVID-19 crisis



BIRGUNG: The youths have said that the government has failed to control and prevent coronavirus in the demonstration organized against the federal government in Birgunj on Thursday.

The youths of Birgunj have taken to the streets to put pressure on the government to take the right path saying that the RDT test being conducted by the government was not justified and the pace of the government was not satisfactory while lockdown is underway.

Police in large numbers were mobilized after the local administration came to know about the protest.

Youth protested carrying placards with slogans ‘There will be comedy in the country after voting for the joker, ‘Hundred percent PCR, correct the quarantine policy’, ‘Meaningless lockdown is not the answer’, ‘Government, where is Rs 10 billion? ‘ and ‘Why taxes?’ among others.
