65-yr-old dies in Jumla quarantine



JUMLA:   A person who was staying in quarantine in Jumla district has died.

According to DSP Lal Bahadur Dhami, the deceased was doing time in quarantine of Dhupidhuska Secondary School in Chandannath municipality-8.

The deceased had come to Jumla from India via Nepalgunj, said Dhami. Police have already reached the incident site and preparing to collect a swab sample from the dead.

A medical team from the Karnali Academy of Heath Sciences has already reached the quarantine site.

Chief District Officer Bhupendra Thapa said the deceased is a 65-year-old man from Chandannath municipality-8 and had been suffering from chronic asthma.
