KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today (Sunday). According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 151.71 and the selling rate at Rs 152.31.
Similarly, the buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 176.64 and the selling rate at Rs 177.34. The buying rate of one pound sterling stands at Rs 203.59 and the selling rate at Rs 204.39, while the buying rate of one Swiss franc has been set at Rs 193.83 and the selling rate at Rs 194.60.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 108.64 and the selling rate at Rs 109.07. Likewise, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar is Rs 109.84 and the selling rate Rs 110.27, while the buying rate of one Singapore dollar is Rs 118.76 and the selling rate Rs 119.23.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.52 and the selling rate Rs 9.56. Similarly, the buying rate of one Chinese yuan is Rs 22.42 and the selling rate Rs 22.51. The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 40.43 and the selling rate Rs 40.59, while the buying rate of one Qatari riyal is Rs 41.66 and the selling rate Rs 41.82.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.66 and the selling rate Rs 4.68. The buying rate of one UAE dirham is Rs 41.31 and the selling rate Rs 41.47. Likewise, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 38.26 and the selling rate Rs 38.41.
The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.07 and the selling rate Rs 10.11. The buying rate of one Swedish krona is Rs 16.41 and the selling rate Rs 16.47, while the buying rate of one Danish krone is Rs 23.64 and the selling rate Rs 23.73.
The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 19.36 and the selling rate at Rs 19.44. Similarly, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar is Rs 494.65 and the selling rate Rs 496.61. The buying rate of one Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 402.39 and the selling rate at Rs 403.98, while the buying rate of one Omani rial is Rs 394.05 and the selling rate Rs 395.61.
The buying rate of Indian currency has been fixed at Rs 160 for INR 100, while the selling rate has been set at Rs 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It also noted that rates determined by commercial banks may vary, and updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
