Search, rescue operations begin at Trishuli-3B project site



KATHMANDU: A technical team, including personnel from the Nepali Army, has been mobilised to carry out search and rescue operations at the Trishuli-3B hydropower project site, which was affected by the Bhotekoshi flood in Rasuwa.

According to the Secretariat of the Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, a team comprising Nepali Army personnel, the project chief, the chief of the consulting company and a site engineer has reached the incident site and begun operations.

The Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation said the search and rescue team is carrying out the operation with caution despite the difficult weather and challenging geographical conditions at the site.
