KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for various currencies for today.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs 152.31, while the selling rate is Rs 152.91.
The buying rate for one euro is Rs 177.30 and the selling rate is Rs 177.99. Similarly, the buying rate for one British pound sterling is Rs 206.88 and the selling rate is Rs 207.69, while the buying rate for one Swiss franc is Rs 189.40 and the selling rate is Rs 190.15.
The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 109.62 and the selling rate is Rs 110.05. For one Canadian dollar, the buying and selling rates have been fixed at Rs 109.90 and Rs 110.34, respectively. The buying rate for one Singapore dollar is Rs 119.84 and the selling rate is Rs 120.31.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.54 and the selling rate is Rs 9.58. Similarly, the buying rate for one Chinese yuan is Rs 22.66 and the selling rate is Rs 22.75.
The buying rate for one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 40.57 and the selling rate is Rs 40.73, while the buying rate for one Qatari riyal is Rs 41.78 and the selling rate is Rs 41.95.
The central bank has fixed the buying rate for one Thai baht at Rs 4.62 and the selling rate at Rs 4.64. The buying rate for one UAE dirham is Rs 41.47 and the selling rate is Rs 41.63.
The buying rate for one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 37.83 and the selling rate is Rs 37.98. For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is Rs 11.10 and the selling rate is Rs 11.14.
The buying rate for one Swedish krona is Rs 15.99 and the selling rate is Rs 16.05, while the buying rate for one Danish krone is Rs 23.72 and the selling rate is Rs 23.81.
The buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 19.43 and the selling rate at Rs 19.50. The buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar is Rs 496.37 and the selling rate is Rs 498.32.
Similarly, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar is Rs 404.00 and the selling rate is Rs 405.59, while the buying rate for one Omani rial is Rs 395.63 and the selling rate is Rs 397.18.
The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. The rates offered by commercial banks may differ from those set by the central bank. Updated exchange rates are available on the Nepal Rastra Bank website.
