KATHMANDU: The Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa has flooded again, prompting the local administration to urge residents in downstream areas to remain vigilant.
Rasuwa Assistant Chief District Officer Drupa Prasad Adhikari said the Bhotekoshi has risen again following a flood through the Lhende River.
Adhikari urged residents living along the riverbanks to remain alert and take necessary precautions to prevent further loss of life and property, according to RSS correspondent Saraswati Neupane, who reported the development by telephone.
Earlier, on August 26 (Wednesday), a flood that entered the Bhotekoshi through the Lhende River caused extensive loss of life and property in Rasuwa and downstream areas, including Nuwakot and Dhading.
