Gold price rises by Rs 800 in Nepali market



KATHMANDU: The price of gold has increased in the Nepali market on Thursday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold has risen by Rs 800 per tola and is being traded at Rs 284,000 per tola.

On Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 283,200 per tola.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has decreased by Rs 10 per tola and is being traded at Rs 4,310 per tola. Silver was traded at Rs 4,320 per tola on the previous trading day.

International media reports said that gold was being traded at $4,076 per ounce and silver at $57 per ounce in the international market on Thursday.
