Landslide blocks Kanti Lokpath

HETAUDA: Transport services have been disrupted since Monday morning after a landslide blocked the Kanti Lokpath at Bharengdanda in Bhimphedi Rural Municipality-8.

According to the District Police Office, landslides have occurred at several locations along the Kanti Lokpath in Makawanpur district, including areas of Bagmati Rural Municipality bordering Lalitpur.

Police said debris clearance will begin only after the weather improves, as continuous rainfall has made it difficult to carry out the operation.

District Police Office spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police Madhav Prasad Kafle has urged motorists not to use the road until further notice and to take alternative routes.
