Gold price rises Rs 5,600 per tola in a day, silver also gains



KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the domestic market surged by Rs 5,600 per tola on Friday, a day after it had fallen by Rs 5,500 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 290,600 per tola for Friday.

The association said the increase follows a rise in gold prices in the international market, which has also affected domestic rates.

Meanwhile, silver prices also increased on Friday. The price of silver rose by Rs 175 per tola to Rs 5,040, up from Rs 4,865 per tola on Thursday.
