Former Minister Deepak Khadka arrested



KATHMANDU: Former Minister Deepak Khadka and Nepali Congress leader has been taken into custody. Police have confirmed his arrest.

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of the police took him into custody on Sunday morning from Budhanilkantha, police sources said.

The arrest follows a request from the Money Laundering Investigation Department, which had sent a letter to Police Headquarters to investigate Khadka. He has been taken into custody for questioning based on that request.
