KATHMANDU: The government is preparing to introduce a subsidy and rehabilitation package for people affected by the recent floods and areas hit by the disaster.
A Cabinet meeting held today at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers decided to this effect, government spokesperson and Minister for Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel said.
The meeting also directed the Ministry of Finance to prepare a comprehensive subsidy and rehabilitation package for individuals and businesses affected by the Bhotekoshi River flood that occurred on Wednesday.
