KATHMANDU: An Air India flight bound for Kathmandu from New Delhi was diverted to Varanasi on Wednesday due to adverse weather conditions in the capital.
According to Tribhuvan International Airport, the flight, scheduled to land at 9:50 am, could not land in Kathmandu because of poor visibility since early morning.
Airport authorities said flight operations are currently normal, although traffic pressure has increased. The diverted Air India aircraft is now en route to Kathmandu for landing.
