NUWAKOT: Prime Minister (PM) Balen Shah visited flood-hit Bidur, Nuwakot, on Thursday and met people injured in the disaster.
After arriving in Bidur, Prime Minister Shah conducted an on-site inspection of the affected areas and met with those receiving treatment for injuries sustained in the floods.
Shah was accompanied by Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Sunil Lamsal. The two reached Bidur by road on Thursday morning.
The devastating flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa on Wednesday caused extensive damage to settlements and infrastructure along the riverbanks. Bidur and surrounding areas of Nuwakot have also been affected by the disaster.
