KATHMANDU: As many as 28 police personnel stationed at various police units in Rasuwa have gone missing following Wednesday’s Bhotekoshi flood.
According to the Police Headquarters, 10 personnel from the Area Police Office Timure, eight from the Rasuwagadhi Police Station, three from the Syafrubesi Police Station, five from the Temporary Police Post Mailung, one from the Betrawati Police Station and one from the Haku Police Station are missing.
Search and rescue operations for the missing police personnel are ongoing, with 3,318 personnel mobilized for the operation, police spokesperson Abinarayan Kafle said.
